| WHO ARE MCDP ASSOCIATES? |
| MCDP Associates are men and women who have come to identify with the spirit, life and mission of the Missionary Catechists of Divine Providence. While maintaining their own lifestyles, associates choose to commit themselves to the MCDP Community for a specific and renewable period of time. Associates respond to their baptismal call within the spirit of the MCDP Community focusing in areas of their choice, including those of spirituality and community/church service. |
| ORIENTATION PROCESS |
| The time of orientation is a minimum of nine months with an extension if mutually discerned. During that time, the associate candidate reflects on areas of spirituality and other congregational documents, meeting are on a monthly basis with an MCDP Sister. Candidates are encouraged to come together monthly with others in the process. Time is also provided for them to share and dialogue with MCDP Associates and MCDP Sisters. |
| REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICANTS |
|
Applicants are men and women dedicated to the Gospel and committed to personal
growth and spirituality. They feel called to the spirit of the MCDP Community.
They are at least twenty years of age and have a wholesome emotional and
spiritual maturity. Persons interested may contact the Associate Office for additional information. Applicants are asked to provide three references, including one from an MCDP Sisters. |
